Sunday, September 6th 2010- Halloween?
We might have two giganto bags of Halloween candy sitting in our hallway! We might..haha. One bag of sour/sweet candy and one bag of chocolate minis. Couldn't resist at Costco yesterday. In fact I had my hubby pull out our Halloween candy trough the minute we got home so I could pour the candy in and have it ready for you know 2 months from now! haha.

Oh and we also scored 80 of these little play-doh babies for $10 at Costco. Eighty is actually quite a lot of them. I hope we get enough kids to give them too.

Sunday, September 05, 2010 - 27 weeks
This is me:

I'm 27 weeks pregnant (as of this coming up Wednesday). I'm having all the typical pregnancy symptoms (back pain, swelling, ligament stretching pain, peeing every 5 minutes). This pregnancy is vastly different than my first. I'm a lot more tired in general and I've felt every symptom possible from very early on. I can't wait to meet Timmy already! This pregnancy is also dragging on at a snails pace for me. Thank goodness for a helpful husband that takes over when I've reached my limit.
I did manage to bake yesterday. We have a backyard full of wild blackberries. Why go to the store and pay $3 a pint, when I can pick them for FREE!


Now go and visit the Smitten Kitchen Blog because that's where I got the recipe. Her recipe is for blueberry muffins but I used blackberries instead since that's what I have growing in my yard. I also used whole wheat instead of white flour making my muffins kind of dense and slightly dry. Next time I make these I plan on substituting agave for sugar and I also plan on figuring out how to make my muffins slightly more moist.
